Ever since I bought my first car I have enjoyed doing maintenance to fix or replace things like air filters and light bulbs. My first car was a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro SS with a 305 V8 engine that was already 8 years old when I bought it. As you can imagine it needed a lot of up keep and I had a lot of fun working on it. Discount Auto Parts (Advanced Auto Parts now) and Pep Boys for 4 years. I have had many other cars since then but I still enjoy the do-it-yourself maintenance. Simple automotive maintenance can be
expensive if you pay someone else to do it, but if you do it your self you can save a lot of money. So I created this page to give others tips and information they may be looking for while doing their own
