This how to change or replace the wiper blades on a Toyota Camry guide was written to help others remove worn out windshield wiper blades on a Toyota. These Toyota
wiper blade replacement instructions and pictures are specifically from the 2012 Toyota Camry OEM wiper blades that have never been changed to new aftermarket wiper blade assemblies. This wiper
blade replacement and refill instructions may also be helpful to owners of the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013 Toyota Camry models as well. You can buy
replacement blades at any auto parts store including Autozone, Pep Boys, Napa, Walmart, Sears or Advanced Auto Parts for between $7 and $20 each depending on what brand you want. It is much easier to
replace the windshield wiper assembly than to try and replace the wiper blade inserts. How often should you change your windshield wipers? Well it all depends on where you live and the climate
conditions, it is recommended to change you windshield wipers at least once per year or more often depending on excessive wear and weather conditions. Read disclaimer.

Lift Wiper Blade Arm |

Lift Wiper Blade Locking Tab |
Note: I prefer to always change the entire windshield wiper blade assembly instead of using new wiper blade refills or inserts
when possible. The original OEM wiper assemblies tend to fade and deteriorate and do not flex as well over time which leads to decreased performance. Technology is always getting better and new
wiper blades perform better than original parts in most cases. The replacement instructions for the Driver Side and Passenger Side Wiper Blades are the same but the refill
wiper blade sizes are different depending on your year Toyota Camry.
Depending on your year Toyota the wiper blades may rest below the hood and you will need to turn the wipers on and then turn the key off when the wiper arm is in the middle of
the windshield in order to lift the wiper arm away from the windshield.
Start by lifting the wiper blade arm up and away from the windshield so you can easily access the old wiper blade assembly. |

Slide Old Wiper Blade Off |

Remove Wiper Blade From Arm |
When removing OEM original wiper blade assembly you will need to insert a flathead screwdriver into the wiper blade retaining clip and lift it up away from the wiper
housing. Once the wiper blade retention clip has been released slide the worn out wiper blade down and out from the u-shaped wiper arm and remove the used wiper blade. Wiper blade sizes for the 2012 and 2013 Toyota Camry is a 26 inch blade on the Driver Side and 18 inch blade on the Passenger Side. See the Wiper Blade Chart below for all years and

To install a new wiper blade on a Toyota Camry, slide the center of the new replacement blade over the U-Shaped or Hook Shaped end of the wiper arm and slide the hook
over the wiper attachment. You should also hear a click noise when the small metal clip on the wiper blade attaches and locks into the wiper arm. Once the wiper blade is installed you can rotate
the wiper blade and lower it to the window and you are done. |
